Dear Naked Curve Clients, Family & Friends,
Seven years ago, on March 1st, a dream became a reality. What started as a small idea. One fuelled by the belief that women deserve to feel bold, sexy, and celebrated has blossomed into something beyond my wildest expectations. Today, in 2025, we celebrate a business milestone and a movement. A journey of women supporting women that wouldn’t be possible without you.
The Journey: From an Idea to a Movement
When I first started Naked Curve, I never imagined how deeply it would resonate with so many women. I simply saw a gap in the market. Lingerie that actually celebrated all women, in all shapes and sizes, without limitations. My vision was never just about selling lingerie. It was about creating a space where women felt seen and appreciated.
Starting out wasn’t easy. Like every small business, there were obstacles. Moments when I questioned if I was doing the right thing, moments when challenges seemed insurmountable.
But every message from one of you telling us how Naked Curve made you feel beautiful, every photo you shared in our pieces, every kind word, those moments reminded me why we started this journey in the first place.
The Challenges We Faced and Overcame
Running a small business isn’t always glamorous.
There have been setbacks, unexpected hurdles, and moments when I felt like giving up. One of the biggest challenges? Navigating the ever-changing landscape of social media. Meta shutting down our ad account multiple times made it incredibly difficult to reach new customers, but instead of backing down, we got creative. We found new ways to connect with our community through organic content, collaborations, and building a loyal customer base that continues to support us despite the obstacles thrown our way.
And let’s not forget the challenges of growing a business while maintaining quality and integrity. There were times when stock delays, manufacturing issues, and supplier problems made us feel like we were constantly treading water. But we pushed through. We adapted, evolved, and refused to compromise on our commitment to providing high-quality, size-inclusive lingerie that women deserve to feel incredible in.
Then, there’s the personal side of running a business.
Balancing work and life, making sacrifices, and dealing with the pressures that come with being an entrepreneur. Some days were tough. Some days, I doubted myself. But through every challenge, the unwavering support of our customers and team kept me going.
